OVERVIEW

The Yokohama iceGUARD G075 is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire improves the winter weather traction. The tire uses the directional tread design and the winter weather compound to upgrade the winter weather, ice and snow grip on the road surface. The directional patterns 3D triple siping design enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the drive. These sipes also boost the performance on ice- and snow-covered road surface conditions. The winter compound maintains the rubber flexibility in colder and freezing temperatures, keeping the tire pliable in winter situations. The circumferential and angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning. They channel water and slush from the footprint, optimizing the surface contact and enhancing the wet and slushy surface performance.

The tread design also improves the controllability. The directional tread design enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As the tread designs optimized center ribs and the 3D triple sipes increase the steering response time and accuracy to the drivers instruction, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model at all times.
