OVERVIEW

A studdable winter tire, the Sumitomo Ice Edge is designed for use on coupes, sedans, CUVs, SUVs, and minivans and features wide and serrated grooves within the tread that enhance grip on snowy roads while also forcing ice and slush out of the tire. 3D serrated siping bites into the road for better grip, and the Ice Edge’s triangular center tread blocks increase the tire’s footprint to boost stability and handling performance.

• Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified for use in moderate to severe winter weather conditions
• Can be pinned with TSMI #12 or 13 studs, depending on the tire’s size, for additional grip on icy and snowy roads where permitted
• Built with wide and serrated tread channels that boost grip on snowy roads and force slush and ice out of the tire
• Triangular center tread blocks put more rubber on the road to enhance handling and stability
• Engineered with 3D serrated sipes that bite into the road to increase grip
• An optimized stud distribution improves performance capabilities when the tire is pinned with studs
