OVERVIEW

The Landspider Citytraxx G/P is a performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire improves the year round performing ability. The tread design with the siping and groove pattern and the all season compound boost the dry, wet and winter traction. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, optimizing the tire’s performing grip. The tread’s stronger compound elements greatly increase the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, upgrading the summer and winter weather performing safety. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a secure wet traction.

The maintained surface contact greatly boosts the high speed controllability. The center ribs of the footprint ensure a close and constant road contact, which enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability while the tires are in motion. This increases the steering response time and accuracy and manages to secure the structural stability. The high-density siping placement generates friction between the tire and the road surface. This friction upgrades the braking power and greatly shortens the braking distance in the process.

The tire also manages to utilize the stronger all season traction to promote better fuel efficiency. The traction minimizes the pressure placed on the tire during the drive, which lowers the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle’s necessary fuel usage in order to maintain motion. The compound also combats the tread’s chipping, cracking and tearing, promoting a longer lasting service life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
