The Firestone Affinity Touring S4 Fuel Fighter is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Firestone offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the deep tread elements increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound does not lose its flexibility in colder temperatures, while the optimized ribbed design finds firm grip in all weather. The deeper and wider circumferential and lateral grooves actively disperse water and slush from below the tire footprint to effectively resist hydroplaning situations. The better hydroplaning prevention and exceptional all weather traction ensure a safer year round driving experience.

The model is extremely fuel efficient, which is where it has received its name, Fuel Fighter, from. The compound was made with the proprietary polymer technology that utilizes rubber material elements to decrease the tire’s weight and increase its traction. This eases the driving pressure off the tire and lowers its rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tire which determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire’s motion. The lower the rolling resistance is, the less fuel the vehicle will need to consume. The reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions guarantee a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly drive.

The tread design increases the model’s controllability.
