OVERVIEW

The Cambridge Highway is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for SUVs.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The symmetric tread pattern and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The symmetric tread pattern closely follows the road surface and maintains its gripping capability, while the tread compound maintains its flexibility, even in colder temperatures. The wide circumferential grooves manage to prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction boost the year round driving experience.

The tread design’s constant road contact upgrades the model’s controllability. The pattern ensures a safer performance by improving the tire’s road contact with the three center ribs and the shoulder tread blocks. The center ribs boost the steering responsiveness and driving stability by ensuring constant road contact. In this manner, the steering becomes quicker and more accurate and the tire’s structure is stabilized against the driving pressure. The shoulder tread blocks heighten the number of biting edges that grip the road surface to advance the cornering and maneuvering ability and safety.

The Highway guarantees a longer tread life. The optimized tire footprint keeps the tire’s road contact at all times which enables the tread elements to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking effectively resists irregular wear formations across the tread area. The extended even tread wear increases the tread life and the tire’s usability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
