The Bridgestone Potenza Sport is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

Exceptional summer weather traction is guaranteed. The special, ultra-high summer compound and the asymmetric, ribbed tread design upgrade the tire’s dry and wet weather grip. Heat build-up is avoided as the silica elements of the compound keep the tire cool during its performance. On the other hand, a better road-to-rubber ratio optimizes the model’s surface grip, providing the necessary traction. Circumferential grooves disperse water from below the footprint, preventing it from cutting off the road contact. As a result, hydroplaning is effectively avoided.

The ribbed tread design allows for the tire’s longer-lasting tread life. It was designed with the 3D sipe technology that ensures footprint stability. In this manner, tread flexing is effectively prevented. As unnecessary pressure is not placed onto the tire, the footprint is able to provide even pressure circulation. This avoids irregular and premature wear, boosting the service life.
