OVERVIEW
The Winrun R330 is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for SUVs and passenger vehicles.
As a summer model this tire has excellent dry and wet traction. However, it is not recommended to use this model in winter conditions, as the tread compound will not grip the road well in lower temperatures. The tire’s tread pattern, with the four wide circumferential grooves, eliminate water from below the tread and helps resist dangerous hydroplaning.
The model features a reinforced construction which maintains the ideal tire shape under the weight of the vehicle and its passengers after air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire, it promotes a limited temporary performance for 50 miles up to 50 mph. This prevents the vehicle from being stranded on the side of the road, by enabling it to reach a nearby location where the tire can be fixed or changed. These tires should not be mixed with regular tires.
The R330 upgrades the controllability. The tread design maintains the surface contact to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This special tread design, with the large shoulder blocks, also shortens the braking distance and enhances the cornering capability. The tire is a great high performance model. It has good high speed stability and uniformity and it does not deform under the pressure of high speed driving. This enables a comfortable and responsive driving experience. This combination guarantees a safer driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
