The special tread pattern and the hybrid tire compound improve the summer weather road gripping ability and traction. As the tire maintains its road grip in dry and wet weather, it is safer to use in summer conditions. This model, however, is not meant to be used in winter weather, due to the compound losing its traction in the colder winter temperatures.
