OVERVIEW

The Montreal Terra-X H/T is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. This model also has touring sizes available for passenger vehicles.

All weather traction is promoted with this model. It uses the tread design’s details and the all season compound to increase the dry, wet, and winter weather performance. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, ensuring its year-round traction. Additionally, the compound keeps its flexibility throughout the year, from the heat of summer to colder winter conditions. Four circumferential grooves channel water and slush from the footprint, combating hydroplaning in wet conditions.

The ribbed tread design’s surface contact improves the controllability as well. The tread design’s ribbed elements guarantee the tire’s contact with the road, in order to enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tread helps to enhance the steering response time and accuracy and it stabilizes the structure. The shoulder block placement provides additional biting edges, upgrading the cornering and maneuvering capability. Using the sipes and groove pattern, the footprint is able to significantly decrease the braking distance. The combination of these enhancements allows the tire to guarantee the driver’s control over the vehicle.
