The Cosmo RC-17 is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Cosmo offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

Cosmo also offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. The road hazard warranty covers passenger vehicle and SUV sizes and it does not include sizes of the 40 series and below and 21inch diameters and above. In order to qualify for the road hazard, the tires must be registered with Cosmo within 45 days after the purchase.

The tire promotes exceptional all weather traction and excellent road gripping ability. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction ensure a safer year round driving experience.

The model offers a comfortable and quiet drive. The constantly maintained road contact reduces the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin. The tire’s road contact absorbs the shock of driving by closely following the road surface. The tread pattern decreases the road noise heard while the tires are in motion. The Toyo Open Country C/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial grade light trucks.

The tire provides great all weather traction. The special all season tire compound and the aggressive staggered tread design boost the dry, wet and winter weather road grip. The durable compound ensures traction throughout the year and it maintains its optimal flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread elements find firm grip even in ice and snow. The tire is pinned for studs. #15 studs can be added for extra grip in winter weather. The model received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol for its capability of handling severe winter conditions. When driving on-road, the wide grooves and open shoulder design prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint to further increase the wet weather traction.
